transform-your-life

I used to be one of those wishy washy people, who found it hard to actually choose what I wanted in life, let alone transform it.  How about you?  Are you able to transform your life into one you want without too much trouble?

I had a hard time, because what if I changed my mind?  And then I was stuck with something it turned out I didn’t really want after all. Wow…that’s the end of the world happening right there….not!

It’s true that I was young at the time.  And it’s true that I’d never really come to terms with the thought that minds can be changed. Let alone that I had any choices in the matter.

As far as I knew, and nobody was there to tell me anything differently, life just happened…because…

Well dear ones, I’m telling you that ain’t true!

There are principles that direct each and every life, and you can operate these principles to transform your life into one you want.

So I thought I’d put together 6 quotes with ways you can get a handle on these principles and make this transformation easy on yourself.

But first things first.

Choose what you want

Yep, make a decision, no matter if you’re afraid you’ll change your mind.  Because believe me, you might, and it’s okay.

Decide you want it enough that you can feel what it’s like to have it.

Put a laser like focus on it. Think of it. Picture it. Imagine it. See yourself having it so you stop getting distracted by all the things you don’t want and all the things going on in the world.

Ready for some quotes to support you to transform your life into one you want and the choices you need to make to get there?

Okay now go ahead and transform your life

1.Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything. – Napoleon Hill

In order to experience the thing you desire, you have to really, deeply want it.

Train yourself to focus on it every day.

Think about it every day.

Your inner behavior shapes your outer world and you begin to become the one who has the life they want.

2. Those who restrain desire do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained. ~ William Blake

The thing of it is if you don’t achieve your desires, it isn’t down to the fact that life’s principles don’t work.   They do.  Think of it as within, so without, and you won’t go far wrong.

Your mind can be molded, but it requires strong signals from you before it will jump from its comfortable track to a new one.

You must hold tightly to your desire and keep it fueled with thoughts and feelings of happy endings.

3. The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything. ~ Warren Buffet

If you’re not saying no to things that aren’t leading towards your goal you’re being distracted.

And distracted people are rarely able to transform their life into one they want.

Their vibration of energy is being switched around willy nilly. And you won’t start a fire with a magnifying glass if you keep moving it around.  It’s the same in life. Focus is the thing that creates the magic.

4. Desire is what leads you through life until the time comes when you desire a higher life.  So do not be ashamed that you want so much, yet at the same time do not feel yourself into thinking that what you want today will be enough tomorrow. ~ Deepak Chopra

Far too many are ashamed that they want more than they have.   More love.   More money.  More health.  More joy.  More Life.

I call BS on that.

Desire comes from on high, to lead us to ever greater experiences and expressions of ourselves.

A strong desire to do create or express something is Spirit calling you.  Answer that call and you will be guided and led to whatever actions you need to take.

Desire makes life matter. Makes everything worthwhile. Desire is life in expression. And it’s a good thing.

5. “Men go to far greater lengths to avoid what they fear than to obtain what they desire.” ~ Dan Brown

I have spent more hours than I care to remember avoiding the things I feared most.   Snakes.   Any big bug that carried a stinger.   Being rejected. Getting my heart hurt.   Abandonment.  The list could go on, but I think you get the picture.   And snakes.  Did I mention snakes?

I spent far too much of my energy and vital life force on trying to find ways to limit exposure to the things I feared.

Imagine if I’d invested all that energy into being focused on the life I wanted.  How much sooner would my dreams have come true?

Because you can be sure none of those things were in the life I chose to live.

If this is you to any degree don’t do this to yourself.  Life is too short to be half lived.

6. Plant the seed of desire in your mind and it forms a nucleus with power to attract to itself everything needed for its fulfillment. ~ Robert Collier

There’s a huge difference between attention that is directed to the outside world and attention deliberately directed to the inner world of creation.

And the ability to transform your life into one that you want depends on the latter.

Too often we’re so hung up on what’s happening in our physical world to the detriment of the very actions that can change everything.

Stop looking outside yourself and start to deliberately withdraw your attention from the outer reality and focus it on your inner reality.

In other words concentrate on those thoughts or feelings which you have determined are in alignment with the life you want to live. Do this every day.

And try to remember you are already connected to the life you want and to experience it, you must stay on the same frequency.

Final thoughts

Even though each single solitary thought may not seem to be having a huge impact in your world; put together you’ll realize how momentous a shift you’ve made.

So treat each moment as a chance to take a step.  A small positive step.

You and only you are the one responsible for taking steps to transform your life into one you want to live.

And if some days you don’t feel like taking that step, be okay with it.  Take a break.

But remember the challenges that persistence brings are far easier to deal with than the challenges of continuing to live a life you don’t want to live any longer.

None of us ever gave our life the best shot possible and regretted it.

And if today it’s too hard for you to get your head around any of this, practice active gratitude for who you are now, where you are now, and the life you want to live that’s just waiting for you to step into it.

  1. I love what you said” If you’re not saying no to things that aren’t leading towards your goal you’re being distracted. Saying “no” to things and others can be hard when we wish to be accepted or if there is a fear of missing out. On the other hand, when we are clear about what we want and have none of the fears that hold us back, we will probably find ourselves saying a lot more “nos” and keeping focus.

    • It’s true isn’t it Evelyn saying no can be hard. And I confess it took me many years to feel comfortable with saying no…I suspect I was a hard-core people pleaser. But once I learned to say no, not only to people, but to distractions, life became a whole lot easier. I highly recommend it!

  2. Elle, I can’t imagine you as a wishy-washing person who found it difficult to choose what they want in life. These quotes + tips, have really inspired me. I tend to be an impulsive person who finds it difficult to stay the course. I need these kinds of reminders.

    • Hi Sandra…true confessions, I still can have my moments…but mostly today, not so much. lol. 🙂 I’m so happy you enjoyed the post.

  3. Oh, I really like this collection. I especially like the one about saying “No”. I’ve never heard that before, but I so agree with it.
