You’ve probably read lots of articles on routines or rituals for happiness. What about success routine rituals that get you to where you want to go?    Research shows that routine rituals work, even for those who don’t believe in them! If you’re wondering about the difference between the two, it’s basically the attitude behind them. Which is why routines and rituals are a perfect partnership for creating co-ordinated successful actions behind what needs to be done in your day and what is a meaningful practice. We have all sorts of routine rituals; my day would be totally out of whack if it didn’t start with my morning cuppa. That’s a routine ritual for me. It’s a simple routine whilst also being a meaningful practice for me because it sets the tone for my day. Relaxed yet alert. Routine rituals foster the habits that are likely to get you to where you want…

I’ve always loved the Edison quote I failed my way to success.  It seems to say, let yourself off the hook.  Don’t beat yourself up if you interpret something as a failure. It begins young, this beating ourselves up stuff.  I saw it in our six year old sprite who was really, really upset with herself when she lost a board game.  She wasn’t upset with the game, or the other players, just with herself for making a mistake.  I told her about Edison and Einstein and other greats who failed their way to success. And today I thought I’d share some simple, but cool (in my mind) concepts to make our journey a little easier and maybe a little rosier.  Love me those rose coloured glasses.  Never mind the naysayers who call us overly optimistic or too cheerful.  I’m the first to admit I’m a cheerful Charlie and it feels…

I’m away from the ranch (we don’t really have a ranch) and feeling pretty loosey goosey.  So in honour of that I have a few questions for you, but I think I’ll begin with a statement.  Told you I was loosey goosey. What if I told you that you were the greatest form of creation on the planet.  Yep, I’m talking about you.  You, my dahlings, are God’s highest form of creation.  You are absolutely one hundred percent, brilliantly uniquely you. No-one, and I’m talking seriously, no-one will ever equal you.  You have an enormous power within and you truly can experience whatever life you choose for yourself. But.  There’s always a but isn’t there?  But, is that how you see yourself? Who in the world do you think you are? Ever heard that before? Do you recognize yourself as a magnificent, amazing being? Mmmm probably not, but it really…

One of the hardest things in the world is to think what you want to think instead of what you’re used to thinking.  And our happiness depends entirely upon what we think. [success] It’s not more knowledge, it’s not more education, it’s not more facts that we need. It’s a better use of what we already have that we need to have. You have, each and every one of you, within your potential power right now to do a wonderful job in your chosen field – if you would only embrace it and use it. ~ Napoleon Hill.[/success] Em was hooked.  I remember that feeling.  The day I discovered and began to practice using the laws of life on purpose.  It was exhilarating, I wanted to shout it from the rooftops.  Hey everyone, you can do this too.  It’s fantastic.  We can change the world…the Universe.  Yep, overly enthusiastic that’s me.…

I’m pretty good at using these laws of life, I managed to manifest a blooming mess throughout my life, using them in the negative.  But hey, since I know I’m good at it, why aren’t I using them to manifest better things?   This is what my friend asked me yesterday as we had a nice cup of tea together.  He can be pretty hard on himself as so many of us can when faced with all the ‘stuff’ we don’t like about our life or ourselves.   But it’s not helpful.  How many times have you been successful in beating yourself up about something and found wonderful changes taking place?  Hmmm, just a guess…never. We can’t fight negativity with more negativity, it’s like sitting without the light on, in the dark, making it darker still and then wondering why there’s no light.  Pushing against what we don’t like just…
