Got a desire, or a goal?  An aim for yourself?  Is it sooo important to you that you never forget it throughout the day?  Are you able to keep it front and centre in your mind until you experience it? I don’t know about you, but I’m likely to forget as the day progresses and life just takes over my thinking.   I can get distracted by outside events…but I still want to experience my desires being fulfilled.  And there’s the challenge.  Isn’t there always some blooming thing? Lest we forget, our mind is pretty powerful and needs a little direction…okay, a lot of direction…otherwise it just replays the same old tunes over and over.  All the old doubts and fears are running in the background, and we don’t even notice it, you know like the computer stuff that’s totally invisible to me.  Or those little icons on my phone…

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. ~ Marcel Proust How does life look today?  Oh, and what about the world around you?  Is it looking good, great even?  Is it filled with loving caring people and great experiences, or is it a fearful place where you have to be careful, and very cautious, because who knows what’s lurking out there ready to get you?  Is your life filled with positive and productive experiences or regrets and evidence of failure?  Are you looking forward to continuing the wonderful journey you’re on, or are you more likely to want to stay in bed and hide under your covers? One of my friends is a pessimist.  He looks for the worst that could happen, he believes everybody else has what he wants and so there’s not much left for him.  His expectation is…

[success]I like the night. Without the dark, we’d never see the stars. ~ Stephanie Meyer[/success] What happens when you know for a absolute certainty that you’re going to be late? You know this because you only left the house five minutes before you’re due to arrive and you’ve got a twenty minute drive ahead of you. Aargh.  You were busy doing nothing. What the heck was going on?  Just faffing around with all kinds of things that make no matter to anyone, and recently it was me who was the faffer. What does matter is what you say to yourself, it matters what your thoughts are…are you likely to be singing, hey ho, I’m really late, tra la la? Err, probably not.  I know that’s not what’s on my mind. The more likely thought is, boy I’m so late, I’m done for…my goose is cooked! And what about when things are…

I have a powerful new addiction.  Not the usual run of the mill addiction to food, alcohol, drugs or…name your own poison. My addiction is to feeling great.  I love it, I want more of it, I can’t and won’t live without it.  As soon as I wake up in the morning I’m looking for it…and don’t stop till I find it and I’m willing to search under the bed, in my drawers, even though I can’t find anything in there at the best of times.  Sound pretty much like an addiction to you?  I do believe the correct answer is ‘yes Elle.’  And yes, I would search online if I thought it might help. A fellow countryman and statesman of yore said: [success] This is an age in which the mood decides the fortunes of people rather than the fortunes decide the mood. ~ Winston Churchill[/success] So true.  My…

Have you ever had an imaginary argument with someone who was totally and absolutely not there? You might not know it, but you were planting the seed for some future harvest.  Cabbages or cupcakes. All depends on the quality of thought.  You’ve set in motion an event to be experienced and if it’s lousy you’ll probably be saying, where the heck did that come from?  Nothing to do with me. Years ago, I heard Bob Proctor say, let me talk to someone for five minutes and I can tell you exactly what’s happening in their world.  My response.  Right!  What a load of codswallop. Ignorance, was my middle name! Life as a mirror Today I get that whenever you see me, you see the state of my mind.  You see the life I lead, the experiences I have…and you’re looking at the reflection of the arrangement of my mind. Weird…
