Tracy’s been having some lousy days lately. Her latest and greatest deal fell through, her clients were less than pleased, and her little cat had been sick.  Having a happy thought probably wasn’t top of her to do list. What were you aware of today?  Did you notice what you were thinking?  Maybe what you were feeling was more obvious?  If you’ve been reading my posts (and I just want to say thanks for all your encouragement) you’ll know I’ve been aware of some oddly and decidedly unfriendly thoughts this past week. My friend Tracy, must have decided to join the same club.  She shouldn’t have bothered…it’s not much of a group…I should probably get a sign, beware…for your own benefit keep away.  Or maybe if I shine a light or two no-one else would get caught on those twin cliffs of despair and despondency. Lighthouses don’t go running all…

[success]Some of us think holding on makes us strong: but sometimes it is letting go. ~ Herman Hesse[/success] You’d been together a long time.  You were comfortable with each other, you knew one another’s strengths and weaknesses.   You never thought you’d part company and then you did.  It was shockingly and suddenly over.  You’d actually moved on.  It was hard to believe, yet here you were letting go, choosing something new and it was…well okay. Until one day, those old familiar feelings re-surfaced…aargh…where in the heck did they come from?  You thought you were done with them…after all, you’d given them up, hadn’t you? Apparently not, for here they were in all their glory…having the cheek to show up, just to remind you that breaking up really is hard to do, especially when you’re breaking up with old, familiar and not very helpful negative thoughts. They say that confession…

[success]Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives. ~ Sidney Madwed[/success] Come the end of the day will you have increased your portfolio?  No, I’m not talking about money ~ been there, did that…moving on. I’m talking about investments in your life.  I’m talking about the currency of the universe…your thoughts.  It’s time to make sure we’re not spending our time, or really most importantly our thoughts.  Use the time wisely, choose your thoughts wisely and your personal portfolio can only expand. The thoughts we choose, the ideas we accept as true, the beliefs we plant in our minds are either an investment  towards the attainment of our dreams or a squandering of a life we wished we’d lived.  Ouch, reminds me, I think…

Within each and everyone of us is an inbuilt urge to live life to the fullest, to live a happy rich life, yet we still struggle with the consciousness of wealth.  In fact for some, the age old belief that spirituality and prosperity are at odds with one another lingers on.  Not to mention that we’re filled with all kinds of conflicting beliefs about wealth and prosperity and money in general. All we need is to use a little financial alchemy – no not the kind that turns lead into gold, but the kind that turns our consciousness into abundance, into financial freedom. I know that this can be a contentious subject, but I’m wading in with my wellie boots on anyway.  Only at the shallow end though, because it’s such a huge topic that even she, who has much to say about everything, can’t cover it in one sitting.…

It’s time to embrace your inner child.  You know…the one who had fun at a drop of a hat. the one who was full of the joys of spring, yes…that one. Remember as children we would sometimes play an imaginary game, a game we made up in our inner world, where we would have cars, or dolls, or other inanimate objects come to life and experience whatever we made up with our thoughts?  Or was it just me? Nah, it still happens. I see it in kids today – they have an innate ability to imagine any story or idea they choose and then play out the scenes that they’ve made up as they went along.  They get lost in their land of make believe and in that moment of time, it’s as real to them as the real world is to us.  They’re totally immersed in it, engrossed to…
