how to live in faith

Henry David Thoreau[/success] Blessed is he who expects nothing, because he won’t be disappointed.  Yep.  I heard that a lot as a kid, usually from my big brother who was busily licking his fingers and putting them all over the cake I wanted to eat.  Yuck…I was doomed to second choices. But expectations are the fuel of faith.  A vibration of consciousness.  And whatever we expect, or don’t expect will be just what we get. I have a little story, one you may have heard before. There were two farmers whose land was dry and parched and they were praying for rain. Their desire was for rain.  Every day they’d go out and check the fields. Dry as a bone. Nothing was happening.
