As any regular reader of this blog knows…and bless you for that…I’m less than perfect at using the laws of consciousness.  I know how they work, I know what to do, I practice using these principles all the time and I catch myself more often when I miss the mark… a good thing…and I’m sooo much better than I used to be, but I still have reactions that are so automatic, that they come and go before I can say Jack Robinson.  Hecky doodle, another weed seed planted in a blink of an eye. Fortunately, just catching our reactions is a great opportunity to uproot that weed seed before it produces rotten fruit, bringing something we could happily live without. We read something in the newspaper that pushes our buttons, or watch something on the telly that is annoying and just accepting or consenting to it on a regular basis is enough…

Have you heard lately how limitless you are?  No.  That’s amazing, because everywhere I turn I come across someone explaining how we are incredibly limitless.  Heck, I’ve even said it myself…right here and even here.  And I’ve changed my mind.  Sort of. I’ve decided I’m personally going to put some limits on this limitless me.  Not my higher self, which is the Divine essence in each of us.  I’m not suggesting we see ourselves as anything other than the powerful beings we truly are.  Unless and until Jupiter aligns with Mars, I’m totally invested in the fact that we are all Divine consciousness…infinite glorious beings. In fact, I think it would be a great idea to have one day each week when we toss out the inner trash.  Don’t mention this to my Darling One, but I think I’m in a spring cleaning mode. I wouldn’t want him to have great…

I don’t often come across something that excites me enough to recommend it but here I am, excited to have Alex Blackwell of The Bridgemaker as my guest today.  My very first guest…ever!   Alex is the author of a wonderful book I’ve just read “Saying Yes to Change: 10 Timeless Life Lessons for Creating Positive Change” and he has generously agreed to an interview.  Alex’s story could be that of any one of us.  He shows how he stopped looking at what was, at who he was, and how he dumped all that baggage he carried around.  No easy task…to ask ourselves to die to the old in order to embrace the new. Alex makes the path easier, helps light the way with his heartwarming examples and tools that everyone of us can use. Alex guides us, step by step, sharing techniques and tips that make it all look…

[success]Reality: What a concept! ~ Robin Williams[/success] We had a discussion last night, after some of us had a lot of booze,  well okay maybe some had a beer or two and others a bourbon, and there might have been someone drinking Baileys…no names, no pack drill.  What a weird expression that is…reminds me of horses or donkeys! You could be forgiven for thinking our discussion was about our experience on Thursday with Bruuuuce the brilliant Springsteen.  Not on your Nellie, we can manage a philosophical discussion even when there are those among us who were clearly three sheets to the wind.  The consensus was that it was all to easy to fall into the trap of turning the Law of Consciousness into a concept or a philosophy,  which is why having a daily journal, or writing down how we have deliberately used the law each day is a great…

It was frigid out.  A dark, grey and bone chilling English winter day.  Davina was warming her toes in front of the roaring fire in my Mum’s big farmhouse kitchen while nursing her cup of tea  – and she was complaining vehemently, as she frequently did, about her boss.  He was singling her out for treatment and not of the positive kind.  If I’d heard her say it once, she’d said it a hundred times.  Her boss didn’t like her.  He was always looking for fault in what she did and what she said.  I knew my Mum had been telling her exactly what she’d tell me, that if she kept thinking and feeling these thoughts, she would only experience unhappy outcomes. Beliefs.  We all have them, influencing and affecting us in ways we probably don’t even recognize, vibrating within us day and night at a sub-conscious level.  We have…
