As you might expect, you need lots of energy to succeed in every area of life.
Energy is the key to positive, physical, and emotional vibrancy.
And good energy helps you perform better and enjoy life to the fullest.
It gives you mental stamina, helps you stay in the present, and remain focused throughout the day.
In fact, energy is what you need to achieve your goals, feel cheerful, and be optimistic every day. And who doesn’t want that. Right?
On the other hand, stress is the ultimate energy and wellbeing killer. So learning how to release stress is not a matter of possibility, it’s a matter of necessity.
When you don ‘t release stress the process of production of new brain cells that are essential to your health slows right down.
Stress lowers your overall happiness, enthusiasm, and the way you take on challenges. It can even reduce your confidence and willpower in the face of adversity.
Stress is an energy of its own, or you might call it an emotion if you like that phrase but the more stress you feel, the lower the likelihood that you’ll feel great during the day.
Decrease stress, increase your energy and you’ll improve all those life-factors and your well-being.
Here’s a powerful strategy to help you quickly lower stress and maintain a high positive energy.
Learn to release stress and tension
Tension is the greatest curse in sport.

The fastest and most effective way to double your energy is to master tension. Most people do just the opposite, by managing tension poorly. When that happens, they easily lose focus, willpower, and emotional energy.
I’m convinced that if you change the way you manage tension, you can re-energize your life.
If this is you, try this practice this once or twice in a day.
Close your eyes for the next few minutes, breathe in deeply, and say the word ‘release’ to yourself when breathing out.
As you repeat this, notice where you feel the tension or stress and command your body to release all the tension and stress in that area.
I recommend you practice this for 2 to 5 minutes. And when you feel your body and mind becoming freer, simply set your mind to the goal of how you want to feel from that moment forward.
Ask yourself, what energy do I want to bring into each activity in my life today? How do I perform better in my next task?
Take a few moments during the breathing exercise to feel the new emotion and energy coming alive in your body.
This might look simple but practicing it at some point during the day will help you manage stress better and gain more energy during the day.

Then move to your favorite place of work, grab some coffee or green tea or any of your favorite beverages, so you can increase your energy even more. You’ll discover how well it works.
And you don’t have to apply this only to work tension, apply it to conversations when having a meeting with someone or even when talking to your spouse.
Simply ask yourself, what type of energy do I want to bring to this meeting or conversation? Then do just that.
Don’t let negativity hold you back regardless of the circumstances.
The more you practice this, the happier and freer you’ll become. You’ll be in charge of your life and navigate the day with a more positive and vibrant energy.
