Powerful Reasons For Us All To Be Meditating Daily

daily meditating

Meditating.  What instantly pops into your mind when you hear this word?

‘It’s not for me!’

Or ‘meditating daily…give me a break it’s just another thing to add to my to-do list.  And that’s already full to the brim.’

Or perhaps the best one of all, ‘it’s just a waste of my time.’

Well I want to remind you that these are just thoughts and maybe they’re holding you prisoner and maybe these thoughts are totally limiting your possibilities in life.

So why not think again?

Let’s start with how many people in the world meditate…because if there’s a lot…then there must be something to it, right?

Well it turns out that it’s difficult to quantify exactly how many people meditate worldwide, but some studies show a rough estimate of people meditating regularly in the world falls somewhere between 200 and 500 million people.

I did say it was difficult to precisely quantify,  🙂

And I imagine all these folk living happily ever after.  I think.  But really, who can say.

What I can say is I’ve got some compelling reasons why meditation is a must in our life today.

Starve the distractions and chaos and experience greater health

Let’s face it life is filled with distractions.  And it seems more than ever today filled with chaos.

And the result of this on you and me isn’t that great.

We’re constantly operating in a state of stress. Which to our body means we’re in a state of survival.

And this is when we begin to develop diseases and anxiety or depression.  Simply because the chemicals needed for survival knock our entire being out of balance.

A stress response is normal.  But we’re designed for short term stresses, not constantly living in that state.

So we need an intervention. Making time for yourself is a way to interrupt the stress response of your body and allow it to turn back to it’s natural order.

And It allows us to move from a state  where our body is responding as though everything is urgent, or an emergency, to a state of peace and repair.

So I figure we should give our bodies a fighting chance to return to their normal, healthy balance.

Especially since I’m planning on living a long and healthy life.  How about you?

And if a little meditation can help, who wouldn’t be for it.  Right?

Get in tune with success

Far too many of us have a broken definition of success.

A heap of money in your bank account, a slip of paper saying you have a degree, or fame and fortune isn’t enough to define true success.  Great as these things might be.

We can’t leave out any aspect of ourselves if we truly want to live a successful life.

True and lasting success isn’t something we need to make happen…it’s something we tune into.  Something bigger and greater than ourselves.

Because success isn’t to be measured merely by money or social status, but by your inner peace and wellbeing.

It’s a spiritual truth that success is something we attract.  We make progress by what we become, for that’s what determines what we attract.

That’s the name of the game.

So it is to meditating that we must turn, to tune into the innate intelligence within, that’s both personal and universal.

Because in order to experience true, real and lasting success we need to get out of  our own way and stop running hither and thither seeking the next action to take and missing the plentiful possibilities and opportunities available to us, because our  inner connection is weak due to lack of attention.

Success is much easier and holistically come by when we sit in the silence, tune in and and take our connection to the next level.

Plus, it’s a whole lot easier than any other way.

Take charge of your happiness the easy way

Seriously you can ease your way into happiness without pushing too hard.

We know that happiness doesn’t come from the fancy car, or the clubs we join, or the boat, or the vacation, but from a state of inner peace and inner balance. It comes from within.

And all of us at our deepest level want to have a sense of joy and happiness.

Some people use drugs or alcohol to experience this because for a momentary period of time it helps some feel better about their life.

But there’s a healthier way to break through the anxiety or fear that we all experience at some points in life, and that’s meditating daily.

And once we break through all the noise and chaos of life then we stop relying on anything outside of us to bring us joy.

We’ve taught our mind to understand that happiness and joy are only a thought and feeling away.

Cue angel music and grateful thanks.  Something good that we don’t have to work too hard at! 🙂

Avoiding neglect

But angel music and gratitude aside…whilst it’s easy to step into the river of happiness…it’s also easy not to.

And therein lies our challenge.  To step or not to step.

And if it’s so flipping easy why don’t more of us do it?

One word. Neglect.

The thing about life is that it’s a revealer, constantly reflecting us too ourselves.

It’s our truest indicator of the vibration of feeling energy we most frequently occupy, the energy that’s drawing every life experience and every person into our world.

And because this is how life works it’s really important to make sure that at least some of the time each day we’re living in a feeling energy of joy and harmony and happiness.

We neglect this powerful aspect of ourself at our peril.

We lose control over creation. Which leaves us unable to manifest a new and better future.

Yet all the while we have at our fingertips the perfect system to move us into that elevated emotional feeling place, of freedom, joy, inspiration,  love and gratitude…it’s called daily meditation.

The moment we choose to meditate on a regular basis, and stop neglecting the inner world, where the power of creation lies, we get to move into a new state of being.

Until eventually we begin experiencing a new personality, which brings with it a new personal reality.

All for a few moments of time spent removed from the outer world of distraction.

Maybe if you could see meditation as a jumping off point for creation of the world you’d love to dwell in, it would help you to begin to see why we should all be meditating daily.

Especially when we’d like our life to be one of happiness, health and success.

Something I think we could all say yes to.

Spiritually Speaking

There’s an unseen world of infinite possibilities that we have access to, but we live in the same reality over and over because we feel the same things over and over, we think the same thoughts over and over and that keeps us in a prison of non-change.

If you really want good things to happen in life you need to connect regularly to your innate intelligence, to that a power within that can heal your body, mind and spirit.

It’s both personal and universal and we can take our connection to the next level through meditating daily…and as I’ve said…that’s the name of the game.

Once you decide you’re going to change in life to do a better job of living, once you decide the lifestyle you’ve been living no longer fits.…meditating daily is the easiest, most accessible way to make sure you wake up every morning with a smile.

That’s what you need to start working on today.

Meanwhile encourage one another.
