bigstock-I want more please

[success]An awakened imagination works with a purpose. It creates and conserves the desirable, and transforms or destroys the undesirable. ~ Neville Goddard[/success]

My friend Jennie was troubled.

I‘ve been vizualising, meditating and using my imagination to experience all kinds of cool things…and nothing, zip, zilch.  Obviously this stuff doesn’t work.

What about when you were driving around saying you were happy all the time.  That seemed to work well for you.

Not now, it doesn’t.

Well, what exactly do you want?

More.

More what?

More of everything!

Hmm, what does that look like exactly.  What sort of picture do you have in your mind about…more?  What does it feel like to have more.  Now that you have more, what does your life look like, what do your friends say to you?  What are you doing?

She wasn’t sure.  Okay, now we have it.

We can harvest anything we want in this world, but first we have to plant the right seeds.  As I’m sure I’ve said before if you plant cabbages, don’t think you’re going to be eating strawberries.  It ‘aint happening.

Suppose a friend came into a large sum of money.  Would you rejoice with him?  Be glad for him?  I bet you would.  So we must then assume this is true and actually have imaginary conversations with our friend from that premise.  Same is true, if they wanted an ideal relationship, or better health, or a new or better career.  As we do this, we set up a changed attitude towards that friend and produce a positive, deliberate, emotional response within ourselves.  This is our planting.  Our seeding.  Our strawberries.

Fancy chocolate covered strawberries

It makes no odds if we’re doing this for another or ourselves.  Whatever Jennie needed more of…and let’s be clear for a minute, more is a wishy washy desire to have.  Being explicit is so much better and easier to get a mental picture of.  More of that for another post!

Jennie wasn’t really invested in imagining greater things for herself at all. She hadn’t really imagined what it was like to be experiencing the fulfillment of her desires.  Her friends didn’t see her differently in her imagination.  She wasn’t clear at all, in fact she was still reflecting the world around her in her thoughts.

Every moment in time is our seed time and harvest.  Let’s not wait for circumstances to change, let’s change our attitude first.  Single out that aspect of reality you want to experience, be it success, healthy, happiness, dignity or nobility.  And then think from the premise that it’s true, it’s real.  Our subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between fact and fiction.  It just accepts whatever we tell it is true.

Do you know someone who’s lonely and would like to be happily married?  Or someone who would love a beautiful home?  Feel their joy and you’ve planted the seed of fulfillment for them that they will harvest…as will you.  Oh your harvest may be somewhat different, but the energy of it will be the same.  For everything that exists in our consciousness will be experienced by us.  Isn’t that great?  I love this part of the laws of consciousness.

All we’re asked to do is enter, in our imagination, whatever it is that we want to experience for ourselves and others and view the world from this consciousness…and nothing, absolutely nothing, will prevent it from being harvested.

What seeds have you planted lately?  Are you harvesting the equivalent of chocolate covered strawberries?  Do tell all in the comments below…we always love to hear from you.

Encourage one another.

Love Elle.

xoxo

  1. Thanks, Elle. I needed this reminder. BTW, remember how I’d been imagining good, reliable transportation? Well, I got a new car! Out of the blue, in a way I’d never have expected.
