Stuff happens in life… ‘unfortunate events’  occur, and before we can blink an eye, we’ve collided with rock bottom.

It might be the loneliest place in the world.

It’s the ultimate crisis.

Shame and humiliation take over what was once a reasonably happy life.  Maybe even an incredibly successful life.

But most of all we are the problem.  It’s our fault.

We don’t feel shame, we are shame.

Different challenges, different struggles might be your rock bottom.  But the outcome is the same.

We have no idea how to dig ourselves out of the hole we’ve fallen into.  Heck, we might still have the shovel that we used to dig the hole in the first place and still have no clue how to use it to make our way out.

And it’s far to easy to stay there, where we can wallow in our failure and misery.

Yet…this doesn’t need to be the end of the line. It doesn’t mean we’re here to stay.

And just to prove that you can still soar, even having hit rock bottom, I want to share with you this wonderful video of Taylor Conroy’s journey to rock bottom and how, despite every adversity, every incredible difficulty he had to face, he’s still standing.

Pay attention to the three major lessons here…applicable to both our personal and business life.  They’re truly personal development gold.

Taylor also shares a gem of a quote that makes a wonderful mantra for our day…especially those days when everything is going to hell in a hand-basket.
