Joy and happiness play a huge part in our life. And if you’re looking for an action that will brighten your relationships and change your life forever, make it to bring more joy into your daily life.
You might ask what about love?
You’re right, of all emotions, love is the most important, but here’s the ugly truth, love without joy can make you feel hollow.
Most folks tend to be at their best when they feel excited about something, when love is connected to joy, or when wonderful opportunities present themselves.
It makes them feel more energetic and productive and you have to understand that it’s not magic, it’s not even because they practiced some deep meditations or mastery techniques.
It’s simply because joy will enhance almost every other positive emotion we desire in life.
And those folks we talked about earlier know how to bring more joy into their life, health, and relationships even in the face of adversity.
They know what to do when life isn’t joyous and they lack positive emotions, including how to handle every negative person around them.
The good news is, those positive emotions can happen for you too, and here are a few questions that will help you take control of the day and generate more joy and positivity into your life and your relationships.
1. What can I be excited about today that will generate more joy and happiness?
Though this question sounds simple, it can make a tremendous difference in your life.
You see, truly successful people know how to manifest and use positive energy that makes them feel more vibrant and joyful no matter what you’re going through.
And it all starts with asking that same question above.
What can I be excited about today?
Write down whatever comes to your mind. Practicing this will give you an edge over every situation, it will also help you find the good in every situation.
When you know what it is that you can be excited about, use that as a source of energy and happiness throughout the day and see how excited and productive you’ll become.
2. What or who might trip me up or cause stress and how can I respond in a positive way?
Preparation is the key that unlocks the door to winning over every other life challenge or mastery.
Successful people know how to prepare and take charge of their day before it even starts.
Even an army, despite knowing the danger and challenges that lie ahead on the battlefield, knows how to harness the power of proper preparation before going into battle.
In a similar way, life is a constant battle and to win you have to be prepared, you have to learn how to handle every situation in a positive way.
So, the next time you wake up, get your journal and simply ask yourself, what or who might trip me up or cause stress today and how can I respond in a positive way?
Write whatever comes to your mind.
This will give you an edge to take control and win over your day.
3. Who can I surprise or appreciate today?
Make it a daily routine to surprise someone with a gift or a thank you. This can uplift your energy and spirit for the entire day.
Most people who sabotage themselves do so because they don’t feel a sense of importance and are mostly filled with bitterness during their day.
So, when you bring a moment of appreciation to your day, either by saying thank you or sending a gift to someone; it will simply release a sense of importance and sweetness, which, in turn, will bring more Joy into your life.
Practice this for a day and I promise you’ll want to take control of your life and generate more joy and happiness every single day.
