Many years ago two psychologists conducted an experiment and proved that what you see when you look at something depends not so much on what is there, as on the assumptions you make, or the expectations you have when you look.
And since we’ve all heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which probably means the same thing…only in more lovely language…I’m conducting my own experiment.
I’m immersing us in what looks beautiful to me. And I’m curious…do you see what I see?
Beautiful Autumn?
Beautiful Glacier Park?
Beautiful, serene swans?
Beautiful sunrise? Courtesy of my Iphone.
Beautiful little girl?
Yes I’m a nosy one. So are you going to satisfy my curiosity? Did you see what you expected to see? Did you see beauty?

all beautiful
I’m so glad you found it so.
Isn’t it amazing, when we slow down a bit, how the beauty of this world pops out at you ?
What a great thought GMS…and slowing down seems more and more necessary in today’s ever connected world.
Beauty is as beauty sees. Thank you for sharing.
Isn’t that the truth, thanks Brian.
