[success]A tree that reaches past your embrace grows from one small seed. ~ Lao Tzu[/success] I’m writing this on the 23rd August…it won’t get published until next week…but I just realized today is my two year anniversary.  My very first post was published on the 23rd August 2011, and no, I wouldn’t go back and look at it if I were you…let’s simply say I’ve evolved as a blogger and leave it where it belongs…in the past. I’ve been at this for two whole years and it’s mind boggling.  Actually it’s more than mind boggling, it’s become a part of what I do, of who I am.  And it got me thinking that this is how we set up our life, in every area.  We become one with what we consistently and repeatedly do. Aristotle was right…repetition is a creative state…imagine that. If you’d asked me when I first started to…

[success]Be miserable,or motivate yourself.  Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice. ~ Wayne Dyer[/success] Motivation can be hard.  Not as hard as pulling a ten ton truck with your teeth or ultra-marathoning, something akin to a system of self annihilation, nevertheless getting and staying motivated isn’t always easy. Don’t despair, no need for meds, here’s a few little do’s and don’ts that might help. Do have a daily aim Have a daily thought to think from.  If we’re not consciously and deliberately planting thoughts in our mind it’ll just get busy seeding itself because think it will, it must… that’s its job.  We should always be exercising our imagination by choosing the thoughts and ideas we have. I invite you to be conscious of what you’re thinking.  Are you thinking of gratitude or moaning and complaining. We must programme our mind for success, starting at the beginning of…

If I’ve got a simple way to magnetize abundance, would you be interested in knowing it? Just in case you said yes, here’s a little story to illustrate the point. The other day one of my friends told me that I was easily pleased.  I’d been saying how grateful I was that his wife pointed me in the direction of a local store that carried my favourite makeup. Yes, I was effusive, yes I was grateful and I hadn’t realized until that moment that what he said was true…I was pretty easily pleased. Lots of things in life lead me to a feeling of gratitude…big things, small things, intermediate sized things, but the size of gratitude is always the same, GIANT sized. For years we’ve been reading about gratitude and the importance of it as a way to propel us out of the never ending and often negative stories we…

[success]Why don’t you start believing that no matter what you have or haven’t done, that your best days are still out in front of you. ~ Joel Osteen[/success] We wonder why stuff happens, or doesn’t happen.  And we act as though every event is separate from, and has absolutely nothing to do with us. I imagined it, why didn’t it happen we wail?  Or even worse, why did that happen instead?  It’s a bummer. Cue mysterious music, for our whodunnit movie. And there we are all the time, right slap bang in the middle of the whole shooting match.  The common denominator in it all is us. There’s nothing random about the way life with a capital L works. It isn’t a theoretical exercise, it’s a real life event and there’s a real life reason behind it all. We don’t just have a desire fulfilled as some accidental, off the…

[socialpug_tweet tweet=”If humanity does not opt for integrity we are through completely. It is absolute touch and go. Each one of us could make the difference. ~ R. Buckminster Fuller” display_tweet=”If humanity does not opt for integrity we are through completely. It is absolute touch and go. Each one of us could make the difference. ~ R. Buckminster Fuller”] Have you made commitments recently and not kept them? Do you say what you mean? Do you do what you say you’ll do? Do you have high standards? Do you walk the talk, or just talk the talk? If we’re not opting for integrity, aligning our walk with our talk, we are likely to be pinching off our deepest connection with our authentic selves. For many of us, this disconnection can lead to feeling fearful and anxious about life, create stress and diminish living a successful life. It’s never too soon…
