Mindset is everything. Most people have been made to believe that being successful is all about fame, popularity, or being a celebrity. You might be thinking, “Yes, that’s the truth.” But that’s just your idea of success and one you might want to change. Look at it this way You’re not a failure if you do not attain popularity! Being famous doesn’t mean you’re successful. Everyone wants to be famous and be known for something big, even I would love to be like the famous Oprah Winfrey or Michelle Obama, and that’s a totally awesome wish. But don’t get it wrong, that wish isn’t to a dead end, because everyone has their own unique path to follow and so do you too. So success for everyone isn’t always about popularity. One big truth why famous people aren’t always successful Success is achieved on a daily basis. Life isn’t lived only…
The mind is the seat of the faculty of reason, the centre of all decision making. It is responsible for one’s thoughts and feelings. The flow of emotions from the mind determines our expressions, our reactions to things, the words we speak, and generally the way we act. Earl Nightingale put it this way: “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.” Highly successful people know this and use it to create success and goodwill in life. At I’m hoping that by the end of this post, you’ll be able to model them. The things we let into our subconscious forms a kind of pattern within us, which we can refer to as a habit or character. If these habits are bad, they become hard to break and if good, can be a key to living a successful life.…
Admit it. Somewhere deep down inside of us is a primary longing to do something different. To achieve great success, at something. It could be trying out something new; it could be a more significant set of goals we are so scared to reach for. Or it could even be something known to us alone that we have wanted to try for a long time, but the fear of looking foolish keeps us hog-tied and locked away in our fear. What we do instead is to try to be like everybody else, following the norms and never giving that weird and wonderful being on the inside a way out into the world. Don’t let yourself be pushed around Being afraid of looking foolish in the eyes of others is no way to live. And the result is we become like everybody else. We hide our insecurities behind the mask of…
It sounds utopian, doesn’t it? The idea of developing morning habits that put you in the same league as the most productive people on this planet. Yet, truth be told, for most of us, our mornings feel anything but productive. Some may prefer to stay in bed a few more hours instead of getting started on their day. Some may simply find it hard to even get started once they’re up! Fortunately, you can learn to become a productive morning person. These 3 morning habits can help you become super productive. 1. Develop an effective routine According to a famous study by psychologist Roy Baumeister, you have a limited amount of willpower every day. Making mundane decisions in the morning will take a toll on it later in the day. That’s why you need a tried and tested routine to minimize your decision-making in the morning. But what does an…
I felt utterly overwhelmed in mind and emotions. Distractions were getting in the way of my success. When I started coaching, I had one mission. That mission was teaching people how to identify their talents and make extra money. I committed to helping one person a week for over a year. Every week, I’d have a person from a Facebook group that I was invited to help. It may not sound like a lot to do, but during that time I had a full-time job. But then, I experienced what I can only describe as “Focus creep.” It’s that sneaky thing that happens when you have one goal; and then you add another goal, to your “must-do” list; and later probably a week, maybe a month or even a year or two, you look at what you’re doing every day and realize that you have 19 different goals you’re working…
