[success]A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him. ~ David Brinkley[/success] Once a week I have to jab myself with a needle.  To put it more politely.  I give myself a shot. Nothing horribly serious…the fickle finger of fate just at work and I don’t absorb B12 very well…all right not at all. And okay, we all know that fate had absolutely nothing to do with it, fickle or otherwise…but boy I liked that phrase and I was going to use it come hell or high water. Once we knew about the deficiency, and I began jabbing myself regularly, the fogginess of thought and all the things that went along with it, virtually disappeared.  Notice I said virtually, just in case ‘you-know-who’ is reading this and decides to leave some funny comment on my thinking capabilities. Poised with needle…

” What do we lose by another’s good fortune? Let us celebrate with them, or strive to emulate them. That should be our desire and determination.” Sai Baba Most of us are aware that we’re part of something much greater than ourselves and we celebrate it.  But how many remember to simply ‘celebrate you’! We’re all part of the whole and each thing we do for one another, each step we take in our personal growth, each success we have, each kindness we perform contributes to the well being of the whole. Something that calls each and every one of us to a higher level of consciousness to a greater and grander self evolution. Today I’m celebrating my love of evolution…I’m celebrating you. The person you are now versus the one you used to be. I’m celebrating the evolution of yourself. We’re all constantly in the process of becoming.…

I’ve never actually tripped…like on magic mushrooms or something…but I have tripped over things on the floor.  So when I first heard the story of the the thirty foot by one foot plank placed on the floor that everyone could easily walk over, I thought to myself…maybe. That however wasn’t the point of the story and for those who’ve never heard it – here it is. If said plank were on your living room floor and someone said I want you to walk the plank. it’d be a piece of cake.  You wouldn’t give it a second thought.  Easy peasy. What if same plank were strung between two high rise buildings some fifty feet or more in the air, what then?  Could you walk across it with the same aplomb? (I’ve been waiting to use that word for ever.) The answer is, it’s doubtful that you could. So what’s the…

If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance. ~ Orville Wright There are times when I’m reminded that I really do live in my own little world. And sometimes when I hear or see the worlds that some other people live in…the worlds where being focused on what you don’t want is normal and choosing the very thing you don’t want is just the way it is, I’m totally taken by surprise. I can’t imagine living like that anymore. One thing I know for sure, it isn’t going to improve life as we currently know it. And since it’s been a little while since I’ve told a story, here’s a little travellers tale for you. I was chatting to Louisa yesterday, and she was telling me she’d been delayed at the airport. Hmmm that sounds too familiar…must…

Our Encourager of the month is Julie Barrett from A Clear Sign. [success]One of the virtues of being very young is that you don’t let the facts get in the way of your imagination. ~ Sam Levenson[/success] Julie follows the wisdom of this quote, because  this concept led her to live the life of her dreams. Julie left the corporate world with nary a backward glance and began the move into the realm of her passion.  After taking a course on professional intuitive development she had her ‘light bulb’ moment and has never looked back.  Love that about her. Today she has a thriving business offering intuitive readings and development counseling. And if you ever wanted to move into the realm of your passion, but weren’t certain how to go about it, perhaps Julie’s story will be just the encouragement you need. [success]I would like to recapture that freshness of…
