As we go through life, our experiences and the feelings about them are noted and flow through us especially through our heart energy center, a power source for living. You feel the heart’s energy all the time. Think about what it’s like to feel love and joy. Or remember a time when creativity, enthusiasm and inspiration just poured out of you. And equally powerful…but not such fun…the times when your heart shut down. I’ve experienced the depressed heart energy of loss. I’ve lost my mother and father, a brother, a husband and a dear friend. And this is the time we can easily get cut off from that infinite supply of love, healing and joy. And if you’ve experienced loss of any kind, this tends to be the time when we shut down our hearts. The very time we need to keep them open. We need to pay close attention…
If you truly want to become exceptionally successful, your must first know a couple of Life Truths. All success of any kind, in any area of life, is spiritual in nature. “As within so without” holds true for us all. If you are in any way tethered to someone else’s idea of what success is, you are on the wrong track. Success should only ever be defined by you. It’s not simply about financial success or career success and it’s definitely not gained by accepting success as defined by others. But it is yours for the choosing, it is yours for understanding and acquiring certain spiritual practices that can lead you more easily towards your own definition of success, to your own happy ending. Let’s make sure you…
The mind is the seat of the faculty of reason, the centre of all decision making. It is responsible for one’s thoughts and feelings. The flow of emotions from the mind determines our expressions, our reactions to things, the words we speak, and generally the way we act. At I’m hoping that by the end of this post, you’ll be able to model them. The things we let into our subconscious forms a kind of pattern within us, which we can refer to as a habit or character. If these habits are bad, they become hard to break and if good, can be a key to living a successful life.…
Admit it. Somewhere deep down inside of us is a primary longing to do something different. To achieve great success, at something. It could be trying out something new; it could be a more significant set of goals we are so scared to reach for. Or it could even be something known to us alone that we have wanted to try for a long time, but the fear of looking foolish keeps us hog-tied and locked away in our fear. What we do instead is to try to be like everybody else, following the norms and never giving that weird and wonderful being on the inside a way out into the world. Don’t let yourself be pushed around Being afraid of looking foolish in the eyes of others is no way to live. And the result is we become like everybody else. We hide our insecurities behind the mask of…
