Many people seem to have life all worked out, don’t they? Breezing through life, effortlessly.
Or at least it seems that way.
But the truth is, life is as complicated, chaotic, beautiful, wonderful and sometimes downright hard for us all.
Even those who seem to have the breeze at their back.
The only difference between those who seem to breeze through life and the rest of us is that even when life throws obstacles and negative external experiences their way, they never choose to avoid challenges altogether.
They never choose the path of comfort eating, or alcohol to avoid resolving issues in life.
They never decide it’s all too much and the best thing to do is to stick like glue to their comfort zone, deceiving themselves that this is good enough, so they don’t have to reach for more.
They never lose respect for themselves, and what they deserve in life.
And each time life throws them a curveball, they throw it right back.
So if life isn’t a breeze for you right now, here’s a few basics to get you breezing through life with the best of them.
And even if you don’t get to the breezing through life place the instant you read this article, you will be armed with new thoughts to prepare you for more of a breeze tomorrow.
Remember a change of thoughts is always the start to a change in life.
A short story
My Darling One used to be a body builder. Not a champion in the strict sense of the word, but he trained with Mr. Korea, if that counts?
He’s still a dedicated gym goer, determined to keep fit.
And all this discipline is difficult for a whiny, do I really have to walk today…its too windy, kind of girl, like me to grasp.
The dedication and discipline required just to build a regular old bod, let alone a Mr. or Mrs Korea has so far eluded me.
What about this? Muscular, much? And dedicated? Incredibly so. Disciplined? Most definitely.
To lead a bigger, grander, greater life, we all need this.
No, not the huge muscles…it’s the training, the dedication, the discipline I’m talking about.
It’s not our body that needs training
Well speaking for myself, maybe just a little.
Okay, maybe a lot, if I want to move those extra ten pounds that somehow showed up recently, for no reason at all, and certainly not because I ate birthday cake, and doughnuts at the Fair and did I mention birthday cake?
Having extra layers around my rear end isn’t what I mean by a bigger life.
It’s a life of greater possibilities, of happier outcomes and a grander future.
And in order to experience this, we must alter our mental musings. We must train our mind to focus on the things we desire, the events we’d like to experience, the relationships we want to have.
We need to be as dedicated and disciplined as any athlete wanting to hone their bodies.
Many people think that our inner power is like waving a magic wand, an easy way to manifest your dreams in life.
That you just “think” something a few times and soon it happens.
I wish it were so, but it takes more than that.
Your mind is a really brilliant and powerful tool in creating your reality, but it will only happen if you practice regularly and persistently.
We need discipline
Discipline to persist with the practice of choosing what thoughts to think and what feelings to feel, regardless of outside circumstances.
Because once the initial euphoria of learning you have this incredible inner power wears off, discipline has to kick in, if you’re to reach the point of breezing through life.
The laws of life might be a philosophy but the doing of them is a practice and to be able to breeze through life we need to keep our attention on what creates that ideal life for us.
Your inner world has everything you need to transform your outer world into one where ease and grace go hand in hand.
You don’t need anyone’s permission. You don’t need to let anyone’s negativity or ignorance stop you from doing what you know in your heart is right for you.
Because within you is the spark of creation, which is such an incredibly powerful force, that the universe cannot but help respond to with a resounding yes.
Simply choose to appreciate the greatness, persist in the belief that it is so, and discipline your mind to keep that focus and breezing through life will become…well…a breeze.
It is simple…but don’t mistake simple for easy.
If it were easy to walk the path of abundance, peace, happiness and success, we’d all be on it. But for the one who is willing to practice and persist…you my darling will find yourself on that path before you know it.
Encourage one another.

Absolutely true. Not attempting to do something, non-action–is far worse as it brings regret and slowly eats away at our psyche.
Trained with Mr.Korea–ooh! That’s stupendous.
Thanks for a motivating post, Elle!
