If there was one simple way to make your home happier and healthier would you use it?
In case the answer is yes…Mother Nature has the answer all neatly wrapped in a pretty little bundle.
It’s nothing complicated. You don’t even have to lift a finger…well maybe one.
Mother Nature has the answer to a happier healthier home
I’m talking about the benefits, courtesy of Mother Nature, of the humble houseplant.
If you’re ready to be more focused, happier and healthier a few houseplants scattered strategically around the home will do the trick.
That’s because plants are the air purifiers of the planet and work just as well indoors as out. And they bring with them the added benefit of cleansing your air of all the nasty, invisible toxic substances which creep into our homes in the shape of plastic bags, carpeting and paint.
Hurrah for the little houseplant.
According to NASA research, every 24 hours, houseplants can remove up to close to 87% of these toxic little devils. And as I say, you don’t even have to lift a finger to accomplish this, just let nature run it’s course.
Before you ask which houseplants would be best to perform these awesome cleansing and purifying trick …I’m going to give you three!
Peace Lily
These are awesome at absorbing electromagnetic radiation from your digital devices and we could all use some help there. Right?
Mother in Law Tongue
Not my most favorite looking plant, but it’s awesome for removing benzene from glues in furniture and detergent plus #bonus it increases the oxygen supply in the room at night. Everyone can breathe a little easier.
Jade Plant
This one is awesome for removing volatile chemicals from the air. And if you believe in the energy of Feng Shui place it in east locations for family harmony, and health or in southeast locations for wealth and luck.
So good luck with making your home happier and healthier.
Encourage one another.
Love Elle
Hi Elle, I love your post. I have a small garden and every morning i usually stay there just to relax, I also have the peace lily plant, never thought that it can absorb radiation. Thanks for sharing a very informative and helpful post.
I have to say Sherill I usually have an orchid in the house because I think they’re lovely and they’re easy to grow (I use a little benign neglect!) and I move it into our bedroom at night to give us a goodly supply of fresh air while we sleep. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed this one…it’s a little different for me, so it’s good to get feedback. Thank you. 🙂
