4 Effortless Ways To Enrich Your Life.

[success]Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives. ~ Sidney Madwed[/success] Come the end of the day will you have increased your portfolio?  No, I’m not talking about money ~ been there, did that…moving on. I’m talking about investments in your life.  I’m talking about the currency of the universe…your thoughts.  It’s time to make sure we’re not spending our time, or really most importantly our thoughts.  Use the time wisely, choose your thoughts wisely and your personal portfolio can only expand. The thoughts we choose, the ideas we accept as true, the beliefs we plant in our minds are either an investment  towards the attainment of our dreams or a squandering of a life we wished we’d lived.  Ouch, reminds me, I think I did a bit of squandering today when I got distracted by some rumour that might even be true, but didn’t contribute one iota to the fulfillment of any of my dreams.  I doubt that you’ve ever done that.  Right? Our experiences, good or not so good reveal to us what we accept as true.  And I’m willing to admit right here and now that some of the experiences I’ve had in life bear witness to me being something of spendthrift with my thinking…in the past of course. 🙂  Today I like to keep my portfolio bursting at the seams radiating into my world the most wonderful events and people I can possibly imagine. I said I like to, not that I always manage it… I’m doing what we all do, the best I can…and it’s an improvement on previous portfolio performances.  And every time I get a dividend…a great return on my investment…by having an amazing experience…I want to invest even more.  I’m encouraged by my success. Be your own encourager.  Don’t accept anything you don’t want to appear in your world.  Even if it seems set in stone.  Don’t deny it, just ignore it; simply keep your attention on a better thought and a higher vibrational feeling. Remember, everything you’re willing to accept as true will embody itself as a condition of your life.  So be conscious as to what you’re accepting.  Become determined to be an investor of thoughts and if you find yourself having thoughts that aren’t positive and productive and heading in the direction of your fulfilled dreams, choose again.  Be mindful…don’t get distracted by rumours…oh no, that was me.  Hmm. Make it easy on yourself, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be a struggle, please don’t decline your dreams, start walking in their direction.  Invest in yourself by trying these four effortless ways to enrich your life.

1.Acceptance.

Accept success, security, love, peace, joy, serenity even if your senses deny their existence in this moment.  Only by accepting them in your consciousness can you ever experience them.  If we don’t admit something to be true for us, we can’t, we won’t experience its reflection around us.  Just say not in my world and stay focused on what you want.  Invest in your every moment. [success]Everyday, God gives us the sun – and also one moment in which we have the ability to change everything. ~ Paulo Coelho[/success]

2. Assumption.

Live continuously in the assumption you are what you want to be, you have what you want to have and then you’re investing in you, in your life, in your world.  You’ll receive all you can accept.  Keep investing and soon the dividends will show up. [success]Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be. ~ Karen Ravn[/success]

3. Persuasion.

If you are currently viewing the world as filled with lack and limitation in any way, shape or form, switch viewpoints.  Begin to use your imagination and see the world from the place of security and plenty.  Persuade yourself it’s true by describing this world to yourself mentally, from that assumption.  And most importantly stick with it.  Remember thought is the currency of the universe ~ you’ll get what you pay for ~ make it something magical and beautiful. [success]The appearances of things change according to the emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves. ~ Kahlil Gibran[/success]

4. Direction.

Don’t allow outside forces derail you.  It’s true that there are events over which we have no control, but as my Mum used to tell me…we have control over how we respond to things.  Life can be one big distraction, if we let it be.   Our experience of any event depends on what’s happening in our consciousness, our interpretation of the event and our ability to control and direct our thinking through our attention and creativity. [success]Each day is a new canvas to paint upon. Make sure your picture is full of life and happiness, and at the end of the day you don’t look at it and wish you had painted something different. ~ Unknown[/success] How are you investing in yourself?  Encourage one another. Love Elle. xoxo

I really like this post. Number one really resonated with me since it’s been the one I’ve had a harder time dealing with. On the one hand, I want to accept things as they are because when I push against acceptance, I feel unhappy and unnerved. On the other hand, I also want to continue working towards something better and not accepting what I have in front of me.

I think this is a great list. They’re definitely some things I think are good to enrich your life.

Welcome to the conversation Steve, nice to have you here. Acceptance, in this instance is all about receiving. Being able and willing to believe your desire is already yours without all the doubts and what ifs that can get in our way. As we are able to ‘see’ in our mind’s eye all the wonders of our life awaiting us, we’re basically just saying, yes, thank you very much, I can accept that.

This is definitely ‘doing something cool’. 🙂

Our view of the world depends on the type of glasses we’re looking through. If you don’t like what you’re experiencing, simply put on a new pair of glasses.

Love this post Elle! You help us to see how simple it truly is.

    Big Hugs!!

Thanks Joy, isn’t it the truth that there is a super abundant universe that we are a part of and we get to experience whatever we keep our attention on. Always strikes me as a little bit funny that we aren’t always keeping our attention on amazing things. 🙂 And yes, I’m afraid that sometimes means me!

Most important “Be your own encourager. Don’t accept anything you don’t want to appear in your world” Sometimes tough, but essential always. Beautiful post, Elle! 😀

    • Elle says:

Vidya, it’s true that it ‘aint’ always easy to ignore what is obviously a ‘fact’ seemingly set in stone in our world. But since it’s our thoughts that are busily creating our next experience and bringing to us our next wonderful thing…we really need to just persist. Even if it isn’t 100% if it’s only 10% of the time, the difference in life conditions would be awesome. 🙂

    • Elle says:

Wonderful Dore` that you are busily producing great movies in your mind. And maybe you’ll share some of the great experiences that you get as a result? 🙂 We love to read about encouraging things.

I particularly liked the quote here from “The Prophet.” I think we tend to walk around believing things outside of us have value, or are “good or bad” — other people, the places we find ourselves, articles we read, and so on — without understanding that we decide how valuable they are, and how much joy we allow them to bring us.

    • Elle says:

Isn’t that the truth Chris. Love the way you put it “we decide how valuable something is and how much joy we allow it to bring us.” As I’m fond of saying, life is an inside job. “-)

Nice to see you again Galen. Looking forward to another guest post from you one soon day! And it’s so true we forget the greatest investment of all is in us. How come that? 🙂

Welcome to the conversation Sheila, it’s lovely to have you. Some of my favourite quotes are on this post, so I’m with you on that and I’m glad your day went from being pretty good to even better. I love it when that happens. 🙂

    Elle,

You just continue to get better and better. I am guilty of this

I think I did a bit of squandering today when I got distracted by some rumour that might even be true, but didn’t contribute one iota to the fulfillment of any of my dreams.

And I LOVE the four tips. You rock!!

    • Elle says:

Wow Tess, coming from one of the most admired people in the blogosphere (and I’m your biggest fan- I love your writing) this just blows my socks off. Thank you so much for your kind words…as for the distractions…I just see us getting better and better at ignoring them. 🙂

    • Elle says:

What a cool idea, being a spendthrift with love…although I think you’re sandbagging a bit…you already give a lot of love away kiddo. 🙂

Elle can I as you ,in your suggestion box for books to read you mention “The power of creation” by Neville Goddard .I live in the uk and Amazon there is only showing this book by the same author with a really old looking cover on ( not the orange one ) will this be the same version or is it just an earlier addition because the orange one does not appear to be available to us ?
    ❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆

    • Elle says:

I took a look at the UK Amazon site Sheila and Power of Awareness is there – it has a flowery browny cover. Aren’t I great at descriptions? I took a peak inside it and it’s the right book. I often order books here for my brother in the UK and Amazon fulfills them through their UK outlets. So it all works together. Enjoy the book – Neville has been my mentor (in spirit only) for donkey’s years.

He comes from a very Christian Biblical perspective, which I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea…but honestly…he’s such a valuable resource into using the laws of life. We recently read another of his books, each night, paragraphs at a time, for a whole year. Getting immersed in these principles truly allows it to be so internalized that it becomes our natural way of being. And we know what happens then…really great things show up. 🙂

I have a question for you…how the heck do you get your hearts and stars to show up…love them!

      • sheila says:

Wow Elle thank you for that amazing description of the book cover ( just having fun with you ) but I know what you mean.I will order it anyway ,it doesn’t matter to me either what perspective he writes from so long as I can apply whatever I feel will help me I am open minded to it all . I am glad you liked the hearts and stars .. I do too someone send me a message on facebook with them on so I just copied and pasted them … go on !!!! you try it ❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆❤¸¸.•*¨*☆

Elle….This is a stunning post. Yes, we try the best that we can….imperfectly/perfect. But when we take a disciplined approach, we can make headway through our journey of living through our wise voice.

I love what you said about being your own encourager. Great phrase with a different slant on how to move forward. xxoo-Fran
